A TRIBUTE TO ROCK & ROLL
We play rock and roll; greasy and in your face, guitar driven tunes from when we all first started playing through current times. Faces, Zepplin, Aerosmith, GNR, Gov’t Mule, Tesla and Montrose, just to name a few. These are the tunes we cut our teeth on and we want to share them with you.
In early 2018, Chris DellaPorta, formerly of Smokin’ Gunnz and Single Barrel, sat down with long-time friend, vocalist Tony Sitler of Back in Black, and began discussing the idea of putting a project together. The idea was to form a band that paid tribute to the music they grew up with, Rock & Roll. Chris then reached out to former Single Barrel bandmate, Clint Lyons, getting him onboard to fill out the band’s 2-guitar team. Drummer, Ed Piccolo of End of Silence, The Blues Vultures and Jon Pyle’s Blacklight Syndicate, was the next call. Ed was just wrapping up his commitments in other projects so, the timing was perfect. Bassist/Vocalist, Jeff Lawrence, was the final piece of the puzzle to be added. Ed and Jeff had spent time performing together in several bands over the years and their chemistry was already dialed in. After a conversation was had, discussing the music and a common vision, Road Case was born. Lead Vocalist, Chris Redding of Steel and Shadow Rising, joined the team in 2019, adding another dynamic and covering vocal duties during Tony’s busy performance schedule.
Road Case boasts a talented lineup built of area music scene veterans, ready to take you on a musical ride that will keep you wanting more. Get ready everybody, here comes Road Case!
